How much does it cost to be a TBCG subscriber?
There is a one-time set up fee of $1.00 of you sign up online. If you come to the store, it is FREE!
Can I be a TBCG subscriber?
Yes, if you live in the state of New Mexico. If you are outside the state and wish to subscribe with us, please send an email to staff@true-believers.com. If we get enough requests from around the country, we will open it up to everyone.
I live in Santa Fe, Espaņola, or Los Alamos--can I subscribe on-line?
No, we would prefer that you come in to the shop and subscribe live! You need to get out!
Seriously, if you want to sign up on line it is ok with us, but we love talking with other comic book fans.
How many titles do I need to have?
To subscribe you must have four (4) titles. To get special discounts, you need to have five (5) titles or more. All titles will be shipped bagged and boarded.
What if I want you to pull everything by a certain author (artist, character, etc.)?
That's fine, but you must tell us where you are in your collection so that we do not mistakenly ship you something you do not want. For instance, if you said, "Pull anything Gaiman," we would ship anything new he has been writing that we can find in the shop. But if you said, "Pull anything Gaiman, but start after 1602, #2 and Wolves in the Walls," we would ship you anything that came out since those books (including CDs-be sure to specify books only if that's what you want.
How much does each book cost?
Most comics that come out either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly are $2.95. It really depends on the title, the format, and whether you have asked us to pull trade paperbacks or graphic novels as well. If you are unsure how much your books will cost, please send us an inquiry at staff@true-believers.com.
How much are shipping costs?
Within the shipping costs we have added packaging and the cost of boards. Bags for subscribers are free. Shipping is a minimum of $3.75 for 4 books. Every additional book is $0.85. For instance, if you have 6 books, the shipping will be $3.75 + 2(0.85) or $5.45.
When are my books shipped?
We will ship your books to you on Thursday, since Wednesday is our new comic book day at the shop.
How do discounts work?
Customers who purchase at least 5 or more titles monthly are entitled to have their purchases tracked and earn bonus dollars.
· First year accounts earn 1 bonus dollar for every 20 spent.
· Second year accounts earn 1 bonus dollar for every 15 spent.
· Third year accounts earn 1 bonus dollar for every 10 spent.
We will deduct your bonus dollars for you on a monthly basis.
How am I charged for my books?
You may choose to have your books shipped on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. At that time, your credit card will be charged for all titles and shipping costs.
How can I get regular updates on what is coming out?
Sign up for our email list and you will get regular updates on new titles, all of the happenings, and upcoming events. You may also want to check out the forum for free-form conversation.
